Day 2

Well it was off to Kuranda on the Thursday. We went up by train and I was lucky enough to sit with some of the hubbies! This is Steph and Emma's other halves...Sean and Neil and of course mine...Steve. The train trip was heaps of fun. The scenery was beautiful and i have plenty of shots of that so i have only picked out a few. We had lunch up at Kuranda and a walk around the markets etc. I stood and watched how candy was made for 40 minutes and can you believe I didn't take one photo!!! I was intrigued....Sarah and Steph were with me so maybe Sarah took some???.

WE got the skyrail back down to Cairns and yep this trip was heaps of fun as well. We stopped at 2 lookout points along the way. We were so high up it was amazing! That evening we pretty much were exhausted and decide to have indian takeout which was delish!!!!

Incentive Trip Palm Cove 2008

DAY ONE

Well I am back from another fantastic Incentive trip! This time it was held at Palm Cove which is just gorgeous!!! Even though there was really only one true blue sky day it was a beautiful location and the resort was the BEST!!! Our rooms were amazing and HUGE. Ours had 3 Bedrooms and it was very hard coming back to a Queen Size Bed after spending so much time in a King Size!!!!

Here we are with Shelli and Aaron(Australian Manager)after our morning of stamping together. I have so many beautiful swaps as well that everyone made and I can't wait to show you all.

Our first day was very exciting as we all arrived at the Angsana Resort. We had a BBQ at the restaurant overlooking the ocean with everyone dressed in their Bare Foot Bowls Shirts. (Pressies that were in our room on arrival, I am so wearing it to workshops!!!) I was in the Not Quite Navy team with Emma, Sean, Bec and Eric and of course Steve. We didn't win the actual game against the Real Reds but we did win an award for Team Spirit!!! I am sure it was our war cry...

We're Not

We're Not

We're Not Quite Right!

Anyway it was heaps of fun and then back to the resort for bed. And yep another pressie waiting for us...A gorgeous white embroidered hoodie!! Gosh we were spoilt!!!!

Such an easy and quick card to make....Scribble wheel then stamp on your images...Of course a bit of tearing...then voila!!!

This made beautiful scrapbooking paper...

Hi Everyone!
Well doing the Craft Show actually made me sit down and create some new samples so over the next few days etc I'll show you some...
This my cousin Jaydah( one of my token daughters) I used the Garden Whimsy set here with the Scribble Wheel as a faint background. I just love the new in colours...Purely Pomengranite matched with Blue Bayoo and River Rock here.
Hope everyone is great. I have actually gone back teaching 2 days a week now so life is busier than ever...But I am loving it all....

HI Everyone,

Hope you are all great. Well I would like to let you know of Stampin' Up's November promotion..All in the Family...

As some of you may know, Dave Abbott , the Australian General Manager of Stampin' Up! passed away in October due to a rare blood disease. He was a fantastic person and I feel very lucky and privileged to have had spent so much time with him and his lovely wife Cath on the Port Douglas Incentive Trip earlier this year. Stampin' Up! have established a fund to collect funds for Cath and their 3 lovely children. Every cent from the sale of this special stamp set worldwide in November will be donated to this fund.

All in the Family stamp set is $73.95 but i will be offering it to Customers for $62.95 including postage and handling. Please give me a call if you would like to order this very special stamp set...

Dave joined Stampin’ Up! in October 2005, six months prior to SU!’s launch in Australia. His energetic, outgoing, and caring personality drew SU! to Dave as SU! searched for a General Manager. Dave was instrumental in establishing the business in Australia and growing Stampin’ Up! over the past year and a half. He absolutely loved working with the Australian demonstrators and always made decisions with their best interests in mind. Dave became ill from hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), a rare blood disease, in November 2006 and went through various treatments to fight the disease. Although he was in and out of the hospital, Dave remained keenly interested in building the company and involved with the demonstrators to the very end. He passed away on Thursday, October 18. Dave was a great friend and employee as well as a beloved manager and mentor.”
